![]() ![]() When you run the following commands, what it the output? My logs seem to indicate that while the latest delta was install on April 4th, the code signing certificate has a timestamp of "at 4:06:02 AM" which would correspond with the release of 4.6.9, so either they lied, or they going out of their way to release separate new certificates where one is intentionally gimped. So this would lead me to think that, in typical Zoom style, that while fresh installs might allow HR & SIP to their jobs, upgrades only upgrade features and not security? I'm not too sure. It still has both .disable-library-validation and .disable-executable-page-protection set to true. I had upgraded from 4.6.8 to 4.6.9, and Zoom's entitlements are the same. Now in relation to the reported issues, here are a few thing's I've observed: I knew Zoom was doing pretty stupid stuff (like using AES ECB for audio and video □♂️), but that privilege escalation stuff (and for a user-space shell script at that!) is crazy, especially in a notarized production app! ![]() This would let you send all the audio from your computer to Teams.Ĭheers, Cameron Jat 11:06 am Reply Craig Barrie For my Mac I use iShowU Audio Capture set up using this method: Augat 6:16 pm Reply Walter Thomas Jr I downloaded the MAC OBC virtual cam and installed, restarted Mac and started the virtual camera in OBS but its not showing as an option in Zoom.Hey so a couple of things: First, that was very interesting article. ![]() The only way I can get sound in teams Is to turn up my music and switch teams to use my yeti as sound not good Jat 6:04 am Reply Cameron Hi Reg, You might be able to use the program SoundFlower for mac. Select Desktop and then select the monitor your OBS output is being displayed on OR do a resizeable selection of the same screen. In the CamTwist preferences select your desired frame rate, and video size. If using a single monitor Resize the OBS canvas to take up a small portion of your screen. If using a second monitor In OBS right click on canvas and select Fullscreen Projector and send it to your desired monitor. Setup OBS, with chroma key if desired ( guide here ). Requirements: MacOS OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) CamTwist (download here ) Optional: Second monitor Setup: Install CamTwist. Weve kept the old CamTwist guide below, but its no longer the best method to use.Īdditionally you will ideally want a second monitor, because if any window or program moves in front of the capture area, it will be displayed on the video stream. ![]() The process to use the software is basically the same as the Windows method listed above. MacOS: Using OBS as a Virtual Webcam Update June 2020: Theres now a MacOS version of OBS VirtualCam. Note: You will still need to select your usual microphone as the audio source. Optionally check AutoStart if you want to have VirtualCam start whenever OBS is running. Setup OBS, with optional chroma key ( guide here ). Windows: Using OBS as a Virtual Webcam Requirements: Windows Operating System OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) OBS-VirtualCam plugin ( download here ) Setup: Install OBS-VirtualCam. It looks like this feature will soon be natively supported in OBS, as Tobi Lutke (the founder of Shopify) has just recently placed a 10,000 bounty for the feature. If youre using Windows, then congratulations, the installation is quite simple If youre using MacOS then ideally youll need a second monitor and need to run multiple programs. The installation complexity will vary depending on your operating system. ![]()
